Information

Bumblebees is a small committee run, not for profits playgroup providing childcare to the local area and beyond.

We are able to cater for a maximum of 34 children in our light and airy purpose built building.

We run two sessions daily Monday to Friday. The morning session starts at 8.50 and finishes at 11.50.

We have a small number of places for children to stay at Bumblebees for lunch.  This is only available for those staying all day.

The afternoon session then commences at 12.00 and finishes at 3.00.

We offer a snack to all the children during both morning and afternoon sessions and we ask that parents contribute towards this popular part of the Playgroup routine by donating a minimum of £5 per half term.

On your child’s first day of Playgroup we ask that you come in half an hour after the start of playgroup so that the register has been taken and all the children are settled into their routine.  If your child finds it difficult at first to settle then the staff will work with you to help your child build confidence.

We encourage and welcome parents to ‘stay and play’.

Children are eligible to attend Playgroup following the term after their 2nd birthday.

Sessions are charged at:  £12 per 3 hour session.

Some children may be eligible for 2 year old funding. To check whether you are eligible follow the link below or contact the Children's Centre on 01525 384368.
